The competent bodies of the MSc (article 31 of Law 4485/17) are:

The Assembly of the Department of Interior Architecture (article 31, paragraph 3 of Law 4485/17) that has the following responsibilities:

recommend to the Senate through the Postgraduate Studies Committee of paragraph 5 of Article 32 on the necessity of establishing an MA or MSc according to Article 32
appoint the members of the Board Committee
allocate the teaching work among the teaching staf of the MSc,
set up committees for the selection or examination of postgraduate students or doctoral candidates
ascertain the successful completion of studies for the award of the MSc.
exercise any other powers provided for in the provisions of this Chapter.

The Board Committee of the MSc.

The Board Committee (article 31, par.5 of Law 4485/17) consists of five (5) members of the Department’s faculty, who have undertaken postgraduate work and are elected by the Department’s Assembly. The Committee is responsible for monitoring and coordinating the operation of the programme and consists of the following members:

The Director of the P.M.S. (article 31, par.8 of Law 4485/17) is a member of the Board and is appointed together with his/her Deputy, by decision of the Assembly of the Department. He/she chairs the SC, is a member of the first grade faculty or of the grade of deputy, is of the same or related subject matter as the subject matter of the MSc and exercises the duties defined in this Chapter and in the Regulation of Postgraduate Studies. The Director of the MSc programme shall make recommendations to the competent bodies of the Foundation on any matter relating to the effective operation of the programme.
